Haley & Andy grew up in the same small town of Jesup, Georgia. They had known of each other for a long time, but it wasn’t till 2016 that they finally connected via social media. Haley claims she knew from the very first time they talked that this was something different.
They tied the knot this November at the King & Prince Resort on a beautiful and sunny day. Haley was the CHILLEST bride ever, completely trusting her vendors to put together a dreamy day. All she wanted was to look like a Disney princess… and she absolutely did. Their ceremony was right before sunset with an ocean backdrop, and it was gorgeous. After the ceremony ended, I asked them for just a few minutes of photos on the beach (it’s RARE that I get to photograph on a beach), and I love the shots we were able to capture as the ocean breeze tossed Haley’s veil around against the colorful sky.
This was actually my second wedding in this family — I photographed Haley’s sister, Amber, tie the knot last year in Savannah. It’s always so fun seeing my past clients and their families again. I got to see Amber & Justin’s sweet baby girl for the first time, and of course Haley & Andy’s adorable son made the cutest ring bearer.
I knew if this was anything like Amber & Justin’s wedding, there would be a PARTY. And I was right. The dance floor stayed hopping all night, they passed around a GoPro on a whisky bottle (I’m still waiting to see this footage! :)), and they shared a super fun exit as their guests tossed glitter confetti… which Haley claims she continued to find in her hair for days. All in all, it was a dream day for this couple, and I couldn’t be happier for them. Thanks to all the vendors who contributed in making this day possible!
