It was such a joy meeting and photographing Nina in celebration of her 14th birthday. Have I mentioned a time or two how PRICELESS it is to have professional photographs to look back on of all the different times of your life? Nina is in school at Athens Academy and not at a typical milestone marker when people usually take photos (such as graduating high school), but her mom saw the value of capturing this time anyway. And I’m SO glad she did. Nina is about the sweetest client I’ve ever worked with, saying “yes ma’am” and “thank you” at every turn. We were given the COLDEST and WINDIEST day to work with, but we still had a blast walking around UGA’s campus and downtown Athens. I was dressed in many layers, gloves, and a hat… but Nina was a CHAMP! You can’t even tell in these photos that we were all freezing. I loved the balloons they brought as a prop, although it might’ve been the most difficult day ever to wrangle balloons due to the heavy winds. And I loved Nina’s cute outfits and her contagious smile. It really was such a fun session, and I hope that she & her mom will enjoy looking back at these photos and this memory years down the road.
